Seats in IIT

With increase in number of seats in IIT, now approximately 500 more students can study in IITs. Along with it new IIT have increased 420 more seats. In this video, we will do complete analysis of seats in IIT. We will discuss total number of seats in each IIT college, total seats in IIT college for general category and which are the top IITs based on seats availability.

Approximately 13 lakh students apply for JEE main each year. Out of these only approx. 2 lakhs get shortlisted for JEE advanced. Out of 2 lakhs student only approx. 10500 get seat in IIT college. IIT JEE is certainly one of the most competitive exams but there are also perks of being in IIT. With increase in IIT seats, more students will be able to access quality education in IITs.
