JEE Mains Result 2017

On 27 April 2017, JEE Mains results were declared. These results are very crucial to engineering student because admissions in various colleges are based on it.
In this blog, I am giving you a summary of what JEE cutoffs are, why is it important and what are the requirements to get eligible for JEE advanced.

JEE Main Cutoffs are the minimum marks to qualify JEE Mains exam. Those who clear it become eligible for counselings for admissions in various colleges. Eligible student gets admission in NIT (National Institute of Technology), IIIT, CFTI ( Central Funded Technical Institution ) and various private colleges.

JEE Mains cutoff are different for different categories. You can see below cutoffs of JEE Mains category wise:

Qualifying JEE Mains doesn't ensure, qualification for JEE advanced. In order to be eligible for JEE Advanced exam, student needs to get even more marks.
Given below is JEE Mains cutoff for JEE advanced exam:

JEE Advanced 2017 Exams is scheduled on 21st May 2017 (about 1 month later)
Those who will qualify it will be eligible for counselings for admission in IIT (Indian Institute of Technology).
