On 27 April 2017, JEE Mains results were declared. These results are very crucial to engineering student because admissions in various colleges are based on it. In this blog, I am giving you a summary of what JEE cutoffs are, why is it important and what are the requirements to get eligible for JEE advanced. On April 3, 2017, NIRF released list of top universities in India. This list was drastically different from the previous year's list. In this video, we will see top 10 universities in India based on MHRD ranking 2017 plus top central universities and deemed university in India. IIT College Fees

In 2016, the Union Human Resource Development Ministry decided to hike the fees of the IIT colleges in India. Earlier average annual IIT fees was about ₹ 50000 but after hike it increased to ₹90000. The fees hike was due to increase in tuition fees but SC, ST, poor and disabled student were given exemption from it. Right now, total IIT in India are 23 out which 7 are new iit college and other 16 are old IITs. This list of IITs include average annual fees of IIT and complete list of IITs is arranged alphabetically. Seats in IIT

With increase in number of seats in IIT, now approximately 500 more students can study in IITs. Along with it new IIT have increased 420 more seats. In this video, we will do complete analysis of seats in IIT. We will discuss total number of seats in each IIT college, total seats in IIT college for general category and which are the top IITs based on seats availability. Approximately 13 lakh students apply for JEE main each year. Out of these only approx. 2 lakhs get shortlisted for JEE advanced. Out of 2 lakhs student only approx. 10500 get seat in IIT college. IIT JEE is certainly one of the most competitive exams but there are also perks of being in IIT. With increase in IIT seats, more students will be able to access quality education in IITs.

Opening and Closing Rank of IIT

IIT opening and closing rank tells the range in which your rank should lie in order to get a seat in IIT college. In this video we have covered opening and closing rank of all IITs. This IIT list is based on JEE Result 2016. In the end of this video we will analyze IIT Colleges based on opening and closing rank of IIT. We will see list of Top 5 IIT in India based on NIRF ranking 2017 and opening ranks. In this IIT list, Ranking of IITs is done in the ascending order of JEE advanced opening rank. With increase in seats in IITs, mores student can get into IIT. Closing ranks are expected to be higher this year.
