On 3rd April 2017, 2017's MHRD Ranking of engineering college was released. There were considerable variation in ranking of IITs. In this video we will see IIT colleges in India rank wise based on MHRD ranking 2017. In this list of IIT in India rank wise, you will observe that these IIT Colleges are not only top IITs but also top engineering colleges too. Apart from ranking of IITs, we have provided their All India ranks too, so that you can figure out their position among all other top engineering colleges in India. NIT gives 50% of its seat on the basis of HS (Home State) Quotas and 50% is reserved for other state student. In this video we have given total no of seats in NIT Colleges for each and every college. In this list of NITs, we have covered total seats in each college. Half of these seats are reserved for other state student and other half for student belonging to home state. For example, NIT Trichy have 814 seats. So, seats that will be allotted from home state quota will be 407 and the seats that will be allotted from other state quota will be 404. We have divided this NIT list in two category seats in old NITs and seats in new NITs. Also, we have arranged NIT Colleges in alphabetic order, so that you can discover data of your favorite NIT. In 2017, there are total 11 new and 20 old NIT colleges. So, total no of NIT colleges in India is 31. These 11 new NITs offer 2305 seats and 20 old NITs offer 14555 seats.
